Request data deletion — Swivo
App: Swivo · Package: com.swivo.app
Swivo stores your finance data locally on your device. There is no cloud account. You can delete your data yourself at any time using the steps below.
Delete data in the app
- Open Swivo → Settings.
- To remove all app data: tap Wipe database and confirm.
- To remove individual items: delete transactions, accounts, or labels from the app as needed.
- To stop SMS processing: revoke SMS permission in Android Settings → Apps → Swivo → Permissions.
Delete data by uninstalling
Uninstalling Swivo removes the app database and settings stored inside the app (subject to Android backup/restore on your phone).
Backup files are not removed by uninstall. If you exported a .swivo file or other backup to Downloads, Google Drive, email, or another folder, those files stay on your device or cloud until you delete them manually in that location.
What is deleted
- Transactions, accounts, categories, labels, budgets, and settings stored in the app database.
- Locally cached SMS parsing preferences and celebration settings.
- On-device bug diagnostic logs (if any).
What may be kept
- Google Play purchase history (subscriptions, in-app purchases) — managed by Google Play, not Swivo servers. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
- Exported backups (.swivo files, CSV exports, copies in Drive/Downloads) — not deleted when you uninstall; delete them yourself in Files, Drive, or wherever you saved them.
- Support emails you sent to us — retained only in our mailbox until we delete them; email atsmartapps@gmail.com to request removal of prior correspondence.
Retention
We do not operate a central user database. Data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall. Purchase records held by Google Play / RevenueCat follow their retention policies.
